Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations apply to Orbit8r subscriptions, eligible prepaid AI/GPU credits, and professional services. Other infrastructure catalog entries are informational until explicitly enabled. It should be read with the applicable order, invoice, service terms, and Terms of Service.

1. Subscription refunds

A first-time subscription payment may be eligible for a refund requested within 7 calendar days of the initial charge, provided the subscription has not been substantially used. Requests must be submitted through support@orbit8r.com.

Renewal charges may be reviewed when requested within 48 hours of the renewal charge. Renewal refunds are discretionary unless required by applicable law.

2. Subscription cancellations

Customers may request cancellation at any time through customer support. Cancellation prevents future recurring subscription charges. Unless otherwise stated in an applicable order or service agreement, access continues through the end of the current paid billing period. Cancellation does not automatically refund the current billing period. Orbit8r will provide clear confirmation when a cancellation request is completed.

Self-service cancellation through account billing settings is not currently represented as available unless the account interface expressly provides that option.

3. Prepaid AI/GPU credits

Only AI inference and GPU usage are eligible for prepaid credits; plans, CPU, storage, egress, logs, backups, and other resources are not covered by this credit balance. Orbit8r does not offer postpaid infrastructure billing. Billable resources are intended to require prepaid credits purchased before consumption, with usage deducted from the available balance. Credit purchases, metering, automatic deductions, low-balance alerts, usage blocking, and refund reconciliation are not yet enabled in this application; do not treat the public pricing description as confirmation that these features are active for your account.

Charges for eligible AI inference and GPU usage consumed before cancellation are generally non-refundable. Other infrastructure catalog entries are informational and are not enabled for prepaid usage billing.

Orbit8r will review billing errors, duplicate charges, incorrect metering, and verified service failures and may issue a refund, credit, or proportional adjustment where appropriate.

4. Prepaid credits

When prepaid credits are enabled for an account, available packages are USD 20, USD 50, and USD 100 for AI inference and GPU usage only. Purchased credits do not expire and automatic reload is not enabled. Unused purchased balance may be submitted for review for a refund; approval is discretionary and subject to verification of the purchase, account, and consumption history. Consumed, promotional, or complimentary credits are generally not refundable except where required by law.

5. Service failures and billing errors

Requests involving duplicate payments, incorrect subscription charges, incorrect usage calculations, verified service outages, failure to deliver purchased services, or other documented billing errors may be submitted for review. No automatic refund is promised for every service interruption.

6. Professional services

For architecture reviews, migrations, consulting, and other professional services, eligibility depends on the work already performed and the applicable service agreement. Completed work is generally non-refundable. Any refundable unused portion will be determined under the applicable agreement and disclosed before payment.

7. Refund processing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. The time for funds to appear depends on the payment provider and financial institution. Applicable consumer protection laws and payment network requirements take precedence over this policy.

8. Requesting a review

Contact support@orbit8r.com with the account email, invoice or charge reference, relevant dates, and the reason for the request. Orbit8r reviews requests promptly and may request reasonable information to verify the account and transaction.
